LEDucation Preparation
Modular International is Big Apple-bound! With Springtime closing in, this means that LEDucation is right around the corner and Modular International will be there with a multi-award winner on display.
Having made its official debut at LEDucation 2023, the multi-award-winning 579e LED Modules will be a focus at this year’s event.
The 579e modules give the delivered lumen performances of an 80+ CRI product with superior color rendering over standard 90+ CRI products. The 579e series achieves industry leading lm/w efficiency across a wide range of delivered lumen packages and are available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K.
The 50mm (MR16 size) 579e module offers a 17, 30, 40, or 55 degree beam angle, 6-12 watts, 744-1,458 delivered lumens, 124-139 lm/w (tested at 2700K) and 90+ CRI (R9 value >77-94). Fixture aperture opening: two inches and larger.
The 70mm (AR70 size) 579e module offers a 20, 30, 40, or 55 degree beam angle, 12-20 watts, 1,652-2,746 delivered lumens, 126-146 lm/w tested at 2700K and 90+ CRI (R9 value >83-94). Fixture aperture opening: four inches and larger.
The 90mm (PAR30 size) 579e module offers a 35, 45, 60, or 90 degree beam angle, 20-35 watts, 2,993-5,224 delivered lumens, 142-156 lm/w tested at 2700K and 90+ CRI (R9 value >82-94). Fixture aperture opening: five inches and larger.
In addition, Modular International’s Dim-to-Warm and RGB+W LED Modules will be making their LEDucation debut.
Dim-to-Warm modules simulate the dimming of incandescent lamps by shifting their produced correlated color temperature (CCT) as the modules are dimmed. Modular International’s Dim-to-Warm modules range in CCT from 3000K at full brightness and shift to 1800K at the lowest dimming level.
Modular International’s Dim-to-Warm modules meet and exceed industry averages for lm/w efficiencies across a wide range of wattages and delivered lumen packages. Covering over 98% of Modular Internationals standard product offerings Dim-to-Warm module can be used in 4.4+ million possible product combinations.
The 50mm (MR16 size) Dim-to-Warm module offers a 17, 30, 40, or 55 degree beam angle, 6-11 watts, 426-1,021 delivered lumens, 70-86 lm/w (tested at 3000K) and 90+ CRI (R9 value >78). Fixture aperture opening: two inches and larger.
The 70mm (AR70 size) Dim-to-Warm module offers a 20, 30, 40, or 55 degree beam angle, 13-30 watts, 1,148-2,539 delivered lumens, 79-92 lm/w (tested at 3000K) and 90+ CRI (R9 value >76). Fixture aperture opening: four inches and larger.
The 90mm (PAR30 size) Dim-to-Warm module offers a 30, 45, 55, or 90 degree beam angle, 36-40 watts, 3,018-3,449 delivered lumens, 83-88 lm/w (tested at 3000K) and 90+ CRI (R9 value >73). Fixture aperture opening: five inches and larger.
Standard dimming protocols offered with the 579e and Dim-to-Warm modules include Phase (1%), 0-10V (1%, 0.1%), Lutron Ecosystem drivers and Athena Wireless Node compatibility, DALI-2 (Type 6) (1%, 0.1%), D4i, and DMX (0.1%). Both module types yield a reported L70, L80 and L90 >55,000-hour lumen maintenance lifespan and run at nominal milliamperages and below.
Modular International’s RGB+W LED Modules will be featured at LEDucation installed into an Apertures fixture with an attached touch screen allowing visitors to control the intensity of the light as well as the full spectrum color changing these LED modules offer.
Modular International’s RGB+W LED Modules are offered in a 70mm diameter and run off of a Dali-2 type 8 protocol. With two output options available, these RGB+W modules offer deliver lumen outputs from 1,472-2,515 and 1,879-3,480 across a CCT spectrum from 1800K-16,000K.
Modular International offers seven main product families within its portfolio of Modular Multiples® fixtures allowing 30+ Million possible product combinations using either the 579e, Dim-to-Warm, Tunable White and RGB+W LED modules. Standard products within the Modular Multiples® families range from adjustable & fixed new construction and retrofit downlights, recessed or surface mounted multiples, cylinders, and custom engineered lighting solutions.
